- About Creator: Hailing from Paraná, Carlos Jefferson fell in love with the Pantanal region of Mato Grosso do Sul, where he settled in 1989, and since then his art, in clay and wood, has been marked by bright colors, compatible with the Pantanal environment. “To produce quality ceramic pieces, I need a lot of patience and unlimited time. I work until late at night, I don't have Sundays or holidays, but it's a trade that gives me pleasure and economic independence” (statement in 1995).
