The feet of the oval tureen are a stylised leaf ornament, the handles of it are cornucopias with small flowers and leaves, the lid is decorated with 4 embossed caterpillar ornaments that have been painted yellow and the lid knob is a large flower bud with its stem attached. The whole tureen is covered in single painted flowers. Faience, on-glaze painting. Signed: Reval/Fick/Otto.

Produced by Carl Christian Fick's faience factory (Revalische Vagance-Porcelain Fabrick) that operated in Tallinn from 1772 to 1782.
