This ceramic vase flows with elegance from its shape to the beautifully highlighted handles modeled as elephants’ heads.

Like other Eastern cultures, elephants are considered sacred animals in Vietnam as they are often symbolizing strength and wisdom. This piece skillfully combines many ceramic pottery techniques, including engraving, embossing, throwing, and overlaying colors with multi-layers of glaze. The result is an antique with a contemporary look and feel.
