Hammer’s movement in a TV monitor is spread to the movement of the TV monitor itself placed in the present space through instant response equipment. This work is a video installation in which glass of cathode tube which is a boundary point existing between video in the monitor and real space (also boundary point of space-time of the past and present). Whenever the hammer of video image hits the cathode tube, the TV monitor is moved. The hammer, illusion breaks away from the limits of 2 dimension of video clip and it is recognized as a real object of 3 dimension. By inducing confusion of cognition, this work obscures dichotomous division of imagination and reality, and past and present.
