Twelve-pipe fountain

The fuente de los doce caños [twelve-pipe fountain] is also known as the fuente blanquina. It is the largest in town and one of the icons of Brihuega. It provides a mounting support for the town’s laundry area. It consists of twenty four pipes: twelve on the front and another twelve that supply the laundry area, which has three large rectangular basins: one for lathering, another one for rinsing and a third, smaller one for kitchenware.
