This is a photograph of the naked artist. The work by Mapi Rivera is the result of a personal search for self-discovery. Her body is the object through which everything passes and transforms. This work is centered on the body, where the elements, in this case spheres, form part of herself and rotate around her, eliminating frontiers. The artist herself confirms that "everything in life, in the universe, has a core. The solar system and the atom have a core, everything is made up of small things with a nuclear core. It doesn't seem strange that the smallest part creates greatness, nor that at the core mystery can be found that is glimpsed, experimented with, and experienced by scientists, mystics, artists..."
