Enric Pinet Pàmies (1912- 1974) Trained at the Painting and Sculpture Studio-School of the Catalan Regional Government in Tarragona (1935-1938), the painter had a solid career with numerous exhibitions and events throughout his life. Both in the treatment of landscapes and figures, in this work we can appreciate the blurring of contours, a constant in his work. The treatment of the two characters represented here become enigmatic with the pictoric evaporations the artist gives them, creating the impression that we are not merely seeing the physical aspect of the man and woman, but also an expressive force reflected by their state of mind. 5th Tapiró Painting Award, 1948 Art Biennial
