Two local men standing in front of the former De Smet-Rosedowns Ltd, Caroline Street, Kingston Upon Hull

This now-disused warehouse block was built in 1900 for Rose, Downs & Thompson. Mainly constructed in reinforced concrete on the Hennebique principle, it was the first in England to be built using this method.
