These two rebus ribbons from Belva Lockwood's 1888 campaign for President were probably intended as satirical pieces that were not issued by Lockwood herself. They were possibly worn in two of the many mock Belva Lockwood parades that were held throughout the country. There was a version issued in 1884 that later became pinned up on a board in several New York State bars as a souvenir of the last election along with ribbons issued for the other Presidential candidates.
