Two young women in the Ein Charod kibbutz

Two young women fetch water in the Ein Charod kibbutz, situated in the Jezreel valley. Both are wearing white, short-sleeved shirts and shorts. One of the women is filling a jug; the other is leaning against a wall and watching her.

The first group of young German immigrants arrived at Ein Charod in 1934 through the newly founded “Youth Aliyah” program.
