Official title: The Actors Ichikawa Kuzō III as Naosuke Gonbei Kataoka Gadō III as Tamiya Iemon, Onoe Kikugorō V as Yagashira Yomoshichi and Onoe Kikugorō V as Oiwa and Kobotoke Kōhei in the tale The Tōkaidō Yotsuya Kaidan (Tōkaidō Yotsuya ghost story). This wood block print is comprised of three pieces of paper that come together to create a single scene. In the proper right panel there is a male in a blue and white kimono. In the center panel there is another male in a solid blue kimono fighting with a second male character that is also wearing a blue kimono. This lower center figure disguises a flap, and on the other side of this flap there is a female ghost character. On the proper left side there is a male character holding a stick dressed in a yellow, brown, white and blue kimono.
