Description: A collection of poems by the Zaydī Imām al-Manṣūr billāhʿAbd Allāh b. Ḥamza b. Sulaymān, b. 561 Rabīʿ al-Thānī (1166), without introduction. This Dīwān is not listed in the index of his many works as given in No. 4950, XI. However, it might possibly be identified with the title تحفة الاخوان recorded as no. 86, or maybe with the work المكاتبات الحسنة الخ cited under 90. It is divided into eight sections (نوع):
The poems of the first section are (mostly) ordered chronologically and cover the years (587) 596/1200 to 612/1215. This information is contained in the titles (f.108v, by mistake 696 for 596). They are mostly long qaṣīdas. On f. 149r a very long Rajaz-poem (on the description of horses) begins. The whole collection contains at least 10 000 verses.
