This palang was recorded in the then house and now museum of the late Bhagat Singh who was a socialist revolutionary during the fight for a free and independent India. It is believed to have been used by his mother. The name of the craftsperson, Mistri Baghram Garh Shankar, was carved into a panel fixed at the top of the headboard.
