Experiment SC81

The SC81 experiment studied formation and interaction of muonium in insulators and semiconductors. The wire chamber spectrometer employed in µSR (Muon Spin Rotation) experiments at the SC. When in use, the chambers are placed in the magnetic field generated by a pair of Helmholtz coils.
