Uisang-Do Uisang-Do

Depicting Production Methods for Western Astronomical Observation Devices
Yeongdaeuisangji, published in 1674 by the Chinese royal observatory Heumcheongam, consists of 16 volumes of which the 15th and 16th volumes are known as Uisang-Do and belong to the National Library of Korea. This rare literary work is also called Shinjeuisang-Do. The original edition was printed using copper plates, while the edition housed at the National Library is a manuscript.
