This ukiyoe print depicts pilgrimage to the temple ""Kuroiwa no Godaison (the five Vidyarajah)"" in current Kuroiwa, Ogose Town, Saitama. Kuroiwa no Godaison was believed in by people of then Edo. As the vista of the screen upper part of picture, the road from Edo to Kuroiwa no Godaison is pictured. And as a close view of the lower screen, the pilgrims of famous Kabuki actors are pictured. There is a different work varying in the details to this picture with the same composition. Because the publication Dates of the Buddha statues increased, the publishing company might have corrected picture. This picture has a same meaning as a current trip brochure, and is a historical property indicating the situation of the sightseeing of the Edo period.
