The repertoire and sound quality of the titles released by Deutsche Ultraphon AG on record were of a high standard. To reproduce these records, the company developed the "Ultraphon" in 1925, a gramophone that produced a stereophonic effect thanks to 2 sound boxes and sound openings offset at right angles. The tonearms are arranged one behind the other and pick up the sound at the same time, i.e. with a staggered reproduction of the sound. The reverb effect from this provides the "stereophonic sound."
