Universal on the Death of August II the Strong ...

The first (chronologically) Polish books published by the Korns in their early days in Wrocław were occasional prints referring to the history of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth after the death of Augustus II the Strong. They were published as booklets with only a few pages, without any information about the publisher or printer. As the title of the work indicates, “Ubersetzung derer wegen Absterbens Ihro Königl. Majestät von Pohlen, Augusti des II...” is a translation from Polish into German of the Universal on the death of August II the Strong. It is one of the first publications from the Korn printing house in Wrocław.
Full title: Universal on the Death of August II the Strong announced by the King’s Secretary in Warsaw on 4 February 1733.
