Universe in Expansion

Symbolically, spheres and ropes are materials that allude to organic elements, such as cells from an umbilical chord, whilst also functioning as points and lines, the essence of the volumetric construction of all of my work. These materials are, at once, symbolic and the fundaments of mathematical thought. As I see it, the idea of femininity only makes sense if associated with the ancestral.
In my art, I like to evoke the ancestral feminine powers, such as the fertility goddess Pachamama. Something I’ve been researching more and more is this idea of the feminine and the masculine combined in the pieces, just as they are in nature.
