Fyodor Fyodorovich Fedorovsky was born in 1883 in Chernigov. In 1902 he got into Stroganov Academy without special preparation and then in 1904 began to teach while still studying. In 1907 he took part in a contest for “Carmen” opera by G.Bizet design in S.I.Zimin Private opera in Moscow. Sketches by Fedorovsky got the first award and have been accomplished on the stage on December 8th is how he started his way as a theatre artist.
