This is a spin-off work of an installation in 1996, which was originally a menu from a 1960s noodles stall etched on the site's cement floor before it was dry. When the exhibition was over, Leung made rubbings of the floor etching and mounted them in the style of a Chinese folding screen. The installation was therefore given a new lease of life which is more vibrant in form. The work is a flashback to Leung's original work, a nostalgic tribute to a bygone era, the artist's personal tribute to his childhood days, and a reinvention of the traditional mounting of Chinese calligraphy.
