C215September 2013

Stavanger, Norway

Christian Guémy, professionally known as C215, is a French street artist best known for his intricate stencil work, frequently creating portraits of homeless peoples, refugees, street kids. The artist often chooses his subjects to bring attention to those society has forgotten. While the artist has been painting on the streets for decades, he first took up stencils as his primary technique in 2006. For his participation in Nuart 2013, the artist chose to bring several of his multi-layered portraits to the streets of Stavanger.
