In Untitled (2012), Carol Bove proposes a reflection based on the assembly of peacock feathers on the surface of the canvas. The feathers are iridescent and their vibrant colors are only partially due to the pigments: optical factors such as light and the angle of vision also play a role. In this way, Bove's work acquires a relational dimension, as it responds to the viewer's movements in front of it.
