Cui Zifan (1915-2011) is from Laixi, Shandong Province. He participated in the revolution in 1937 and studied at Yan'an Military and Political College and Yan'an Senior Party School. He was appointed Commissioner of Nanhai Administrative Office in Jiaodong District, Shandong Province, Political Committee of Beijing Hospital, Director of the Bureau of Survey and Survey of the Ministry of Urban Construction of the State Council, Vice President of Beijing Painting Academy, Member of China Artists Association, President of Cui Zifan International Foundation for Art, etc. The representative works are "Dead Wood in Spring", "Everlasting Youth", "Hard Years", "Furong Eight Elder Brothers", "Sparrow Loquat", "Goldfish" and so on. He published "Selected Paintings of Cui Zifan" and "Selected Works of Cui Zifan" and so on. Cui Zifan Art Museum was established in Qingdao in 1994.
