The artist created a veritable carbon forest on the walls of Matarazzo Hospital’s rooms and corridors. This forest is lit with video images of weird jellyfish-like, ectoplasmic creatures, which seem to sail among the branches, trunks and walls. Like ghosts, the images are fleeting visitors to an exhibition that becomes a vantage point (a balcony) onto another world. The artist’s forests are places or moments of passage, buffer zones between life and death that serve almost as pilgrims of the dawn.
