Untitled (Figure Balancing on Dog)

This work is a rare sculptural piece made of raw aluminum, which Haring specifically requested to be maintained and polished, “like a jewel.” The piece can be viewed from any angle. A large-scale outdoor sculpture in the same red motif was donated to his hometown of Kutztown, Pennsylvania in 1992, where it is still beloved by its inhabitants today.
