Jane Liu has a number of publications including A Comparative Study of Printmaking in Jiangsu, Helongjiang and Hong Kong Post 1949, Art on Paper—Hong Kong Prints and Drawing Duet— Art Works by Ma Kwai Shun and Liu Siu Jane. In 2000 she set up the Art Horizon Printmaking Workshop to promote local activities and research. Liu has hosted solo exhibitions as well as participated in numerous exhibitions in Hong Kong, the Mainland and overseas. Her works are collected by local and overseas museums, art institutes, universities and private collectors. Recently, Liu makes prints mainly with lithography. She thought that lithography is more direct in production in which one draws directly on the surface of the limestone which can be then processed to produce prints.
