Drawing is a structural movement in all of José de Guimarães' work. It is related to an intense, daily activity of transforming reality, and is expressed in multiple media. From calligraphy to childlike strokes, on cardboard or paper, using a variety of techniques and materials, drawing has a regenerative function in his work.
