Nakamura Keith Haring Collection
Hokuto, Yamanashi, Japan

It is one of the pieces made for his final solo exhibition after his AIDS diagnosis. In an attempt to establish a new style, new methods
and techniques were applied, which can be seen in the use of the in verted triangular canvas, calculated complementary colors to create an optical illusion, and many references to art history. This large-scale work is evidence of his hopes and dedications to art, and evidence of his life-long pursuit to challenge himself into new territories.
