Ma Zhensheng was born in Beijing in 1939. In 1959, he graduated from the secondary school attached to the Central Academy of Fine Arts and was admitted to the Department of Chinese Painting of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in the same year. Later he studied as a graduate student and graduated in 1966. He is an artist at the first level of the State that enjoys special allowances from the State Council. Now he is a librarian of the Central Research Museum of Literature and History, president of the Academy of Calligraphy and Painting of the Central Research Museum of Literature and History, and President of Jiang Zhaohe Art Research Association of China Artists Association. His representative works include Wine Song Picture, Patriotic Poet Lu You, Liaozhai, etc. He published "Ma Zhensheng Silk Road Style Painting Collection" and so on.
