Saner’s interventions transit among various arts—graffiti, graphic design, painting and drawing—, contrasts that have always influenced him as a contemporary urban artist. His references are drawn from Mexican muralism and his home country’s rich folklore, but also from expressionism, surrealism and naïf art, with a pinch of pop art revisited in the propaganda seen on cityscapes throughout the developing world.
