Àlvar Calvet Castells (1965) In Greekand Roman mythology, Nyx is the personification and goddess of the night. As a logical consequence of my own evolution and based on the preparation of an exhibition held in Madrid in 2012, I have used blindness or non-light for the first time and I am doing so based on interviews held with 6 people with major visual impairment. Analysis of the responses and contact with the group has from this moment allowed me to develop a series of works that express my reflections. In the most recent works, I have organised activities in which I place the collaborators and myself in the place of the other, in my case in that of the blind person 38th Tapiró painting Award.
