Patssi Valdez pays homage to the City of Los Angeles in this small but bold print. The artist sets the background by using bright oranges and yellow swirls to reflect the city's skies. While at the forefront, silhouettes of local landmarks (Watts Towers and Echo Park Lake, for example) and emblematic cultural symbols in the form of Ex Votos are depicted throughout.
