Xiao Shufang (1911-2005) was born in Zhongshan, Guangdong Province. She studied oil painting and Chinese painting at the Art College of Peiping National University in 1928, and then studied sketch and oil painting at the Art Department of Nanjing Central University. In 1937, she went to England and France to hold personal exhibitions. After returning to China in 1940, she worked as an art teacher in Shanghai. She has been a professor of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, a member of the Chinese Artists Association, the fourth Executive Committee of the All-China Women's Federation, the curator of Wu Zuoren Art Museum, and the president of Wu Zuoren International Art Foundation. Her main works include oil painting "Beihai Skating", watercolor painting "Clove Flower", "Dahlia", "Young Pioneers", Chinese painting "Fusang", "Alpine Rhododendron", "Junzilan" and "Lily". Publishing "Wu Zuoren and Xiao Shufang Painting Selection", "Xiao Shufang Painting Selection", "Xiao Shufang Flower Paintings Selection", "Selected Works of Chinese Painters - Xiao Shufang Works".
