Upper Runner Mill Stone

The Nordyke and Marmon Upper Runner Mill is the most complete millstone preserved and restored at the site. A sturdy wooden frame supported the mill stones. A small hopper at the top directed the grain to the stones, where it was ground, and the resulting meal exited through a chute at the side of the machine.
