Microtome - Upper view

It is noteworthy the collaboration of the Laboratory of Automation with Ramón y Cajal, who ordered some systems to Torres Quevedo. This microtome was ordered by Juan Costa, Ramón y Cajal's collaborator and it was specially designed to obtain sections of nervous centres.

Upper view of the device, in which the platform where the element from which the sections required are taken is placed on can be seen, as well as the blade that moved over it.
