Alan Goldstein has acknowledged that as he composed this view looking up the Delaware River from the Lumberville Walking Bridge, he was influenced by his love of Asian art and constantly reminded of post-Impressionist painter Paul Cezanne’s monumental paintings of Mont Sainte-Victoire.
