Urban scene in Oporto with rain is a work by the Spanish master Navarro Poves, Neo-Realist in the artistic panorama of his time in Portugal.
In this work with the technique of spatula stroke, the artist presents us a street of Oporto on a rainy day: to right the wall of the building and the foot of classical street lamp, where we can observe the figure of a woman with an open umbrella walking on the pavement.
His art is still alive and contemporary, art of classical structure but of modern simplification.
