Thick iron and aluminium vessels called kadhai are used for frying chips or roasting flour for making sweets at home. These vessels of different sizes, arranged one inside the other, were hung on a khuti of the storeroom. Another similar khuti recorded in the courtyard of the house was used to hang a container used for fetching milk.
