This manja was recorded in a residence in Ludhiana. It was used by the eldest lady of the house who had received it as a gift in her daaj (wedding trousseau) around seventy years ago. The age shows on the charpoy in its worn-out legs (of which one had been recently replaced) and the ropes of webbing.
