Vajrapāni

Known for the Vajra he is holding, Vajrapāni is believed to be the incarnation of Mahāsthāmaprāpta’s anger. The Vajrapāni in this piece has one head, two arms, and three. Clad in dark blue garments, he is brandishing a Vajra in his outstretched right hand, and holding a lasso in the left, with a serpent necklace around his neck. He is in a wrathful expression with three wide-open eyes and exposed buckteeth, which is appalling.
