Velislai biblia picta is one of the most valuable manuscripts of the National Library of the Czech Republic. It is a type of "biblia pauperum", i.e. a picture form of the Bible. It is sometimes called a medieval comic book because of the large number of pictures and minimal text. Date: 2nd half of the 1450s.
