Vertical aerial photograph of Exeter, Devon

This vertical aerial photograph was taken by the Royal Air Force in December 1945. It shows the area around Dix's Field and Southernhay, where in the spring of 1942 many buildings were destroyed or severely damaged by Luftwaffe bombing raids. Cleared sites and roofless buildings are clearly visible.
