Vertical aerial photograph of Norwich, Norfolk

This vertical aerial photograph, taken by the Royal Air Force in the summer of 1942, shows Norwich city centre. In the bottom-right is Norwich Castle. Many of the light patches reveal where buildings destroyed during the bombing raids of spring 1942 have been cleared. A number of roofless buildings are also visible.
