Decorative animal head which is part of a glass vessel. A tube of pale green-yellow glass has been nipped and stretched to form the neck and head of the animal, and nipped to form the muzzle. Applied blobs of dark blue glass form eyes and ears, with a fifth blob on the left breast. Bushe-Fox says the type is common in the Levant and Egypt, but is unusual in Britain.
