Viagem de Fernão Magalhâes

The Portuguese Dominican friar Fernão de Oliveira, probably drawing from interviews with the survivors of the Trinidad, tells of the terrible circumstances of the voyage of the Trinidad across the Pacific. In this version (Manila: The National Historical Institute, 2002) the original Portuguese manuscript, held in the Leiden University Libraries, is reproduced and transliterated, and translated into English.
