Victoria cross medal posthumously awarded to Acting Flight Sergeant Arthur Aaron. This medal is part of a set of five medals awarded to Arthur Aaron.
The medal is in the form of a bronze cross. The ribbon is plain crimson.

Obverse: a lion standing guard on the royal crown with the words 'FOR VALOUR' on a semi-circular scroll.

Reverse: a circular panel inside which is engraved the date of the act for which the decoration was awarded: 1st NOVEMBER 1943.The reverse of the suspender is engraved with: 1458181 ACT. F/SGT. A.L.AARON. R.A.F. No.218 SQUADRON.
