In 2017 The Victoria Palace Theatre, magnificently restored for the 21st century, reopened on 6th December with the European premiere of Lin-Manuel Miranda's acclaimed musical Hamilton. It was originally designed by theatre architect Frank Matcham and first opened its doors in 1911, presenting a variety of revues and small musicals.
