Caricature of American suffragist Victoria Woodhull (1838-1927) by Thomas Nast (1840-1902). "Get thee behind me, (Mrs.) Satan!" Wife, carrying heavy burden of children and drunk husband, saying to Mrs. Satan (Victoria Woodhull), "I'd rather travel the hardest path of matrimony than follow your footsteps."
