A pair of ivory white satin slippers dating from the1840s. Each shoe is decorated with an ivory satin rosette which has been applied over the top of a tiny ivory satin ribbon-bow which was most likely the original trim. The shoes have elasticated ankle loops and are made straight with no heels. They have white kid leather insoles and are edged with white satin binding.
